Absolutely the best roofing job we have had done; and thanks to Chad who discovered hail damage that no other company found, our insurance is covering the cost. The crew that did the work was professional, hard working and prompt. We were kept informed of all aspects of the job throughout the process, so there were no surprises. The quality of work and materials was amazingly good, absolutely 1st class operation, from the front office to the last man on the work crew. (And not a single nail left on the property…YES!!!)
Even if the insurance claim had not been approved, Chad’s price was very reasonable, well within the estimate range we encountered; a bargain given the overall quality of the job.
Every expectation was exceeded.

Reliable and quality workmanship. Chad’s company replaced several roofs in my neighborhood and I was convinced this was the company I wanted to replace my roof as well. Marty, Project Manager, is great to work with and routinely follows up to be sure all is well. The team of roofers was fascinating to watch as I enjoy the process. Recently, I was in the need of someone to tear off an old double layered shingle roof and put a new layer of shingles on a house in east Asheville. I was referred to Chad at Independent Construction. I called him first thing on a Monday morning and he showed up just after lunch to take a look at the job. He gave me great suggestions for what the roof needed and gave me a price on the spot. Lynda was very helpful over the phone in determining the right choice in shingle for the job and had the material onsite right away. Their crew members were hard working and friendly, did a great job, and left the site clean at the end of the day. The house looks great. Chad even custom fabricated a metal cap and vent for the chimney. I will certainly work with them in the future and recommend their services with confidence.
